Walking wounded, 1 in, 1 out v Glasgow tonight.

After a night of frustration, annoyance and injury for the Olympus Marquees Berwick Bandits (powered by Mike Hope, Wooler) at Edinburgh, the news from team manager Gary Havelock is mixed this lunchtime.

"Its one in and one out tonight with the good news coming from Liam [Carr] who has reported his shoulder its fine and will race tonight, but Dimitri [Berge] has come back to us advising us his damaged wrist is not right and will have to sit out our clash with Glasgow Tigers.

"We will use the only option we can for Dimitri which is rider replacement and for tonight it means everyone except Lewis [Bridger] can take a ride in his place, which could be worse.

"For our longer term sideliner Ryan Blacklock we have brought in Newcastle's Danny Phillips to deputise and tomorrow at Glasgow we will use Rob Shuttleworth at reserve.

"Our results must change soon so again all.the guys are fired up in what will be at least a far more entertaining match than last night's offering."

Berwick vs. Glasgow is tonight at Shielfield Park with a 7.00pm first race, with tge doors opening at 6 ahead of the scheduled 6.50pm parade of riders.
