Reid Battye made a sensational home debut, the Australian’s paid 15 haul giving Berwick only their second win in the last 11 meetings of the side at Shielfield Park.
Tapes exclusions for Jye Etheridge and Nick Morris proved costly as the Tigers held on to take the aggregate bonus point by just two, former Bandits skipper Leon Flint dropping his only points in heat 15 while Kyle Howarth was the other big scoring visitor on a night when Chris Harris struggled for three points, including an uncharacteristic fall.
