
Berwick Bullets vs Mildenhall Fen Tigers


For the second successive Saturday the GHT Bullets, powered by STS suffered last heat heartbreak, Lee Complin completing a sensational five-ride maximum and with Alfie Bowtell following him home their heat 15 5-1 gave Mildenhall victory in a hugely entertaining encounter.
Connor Coles and the livewire Mason Watson kept the home side in the hunt but the Berwick reserve suffered a dsiastrous heat eight crash caused when his chain came off, costing the Berwick flyer a cast iron second place.
Skipper Greg Blair also suffered a blown engine on the startline but the visitors were also hampered by misfortune, impressive reserve Josh Warren’s evening ending when he damaged his elbow in a spectacular first bend crash.
