Berwick’s proud home record finally ended as the Comets, inspired by guesting former Bandit Lee Complin, won an incident packed meeting.
Complin’s battles with Greg Blair produced two outstanding races, the Bandits’ skipper coming out on top on his way to a 15-point haul.
Danny Phillips dropped just one point to a Comet but the support was not really there.
Josh Embleton and Luke Crang were fortunate to walk away from two alarming high speed crashes.
