Berwick finally got their season underway but rain midway through the meeting knocked them off track.
After trailing by just four points going into heat 10, they saw the meeting slip away from them as Chris Harris and Kyle Howarth in particular revelled in the difficult conditions, Bandits not helping themselves by dropping points as riders were caught on the line on three occasions.
Harris completed a paid maximum while Howarth dropped just two points, the visitors best served by former Tigers Nick Morris and Victor Palovaara who scored nine apiece.
