Berwick’s first experience of a SuperHeat was a bitter one as they lost the aggregate bonus point on a chaotic afternoon in Kent.
Neither Connor Coles or skipper Greg Blair could lay a glove on maximum man Ben Morley or Nathan Ablitt in the sudden death heat 16 after the Royals had clawed back a 20 point aggregate deficit helped by two 5-0s.
Blair, Coles and guest Jason Garrad provided the only Bullets’ heat winners on a disappointing afternoon.
