Berwick’s hopes of reaching the BSN Series Final hang by the slenderest of threads after a surprise hammering in Cleveland.
Jye Etheridge got their night off to a flyer by winning heat one, the Bandits managing a 4-2, but then conceded nine successive heat advantages until Peter Kildemand’ s heat 11 win, Etheridge claiming a point.
Victor Palovaara and Jack Smith repeated the 4-2 in the next heat but any hopes of stemming the tide disappeared as, despite two second places from Kildemand, Redcar extended their advantage to 27 points on another night to forget on the road for Berwick.
