Berwick Bandits Speedway Club have been informed by the BSPA that all domestic league racing in the UK has been postponed for 2020.
Naturally your FTS Bandits management team are collectively very disappointed but fully respect the decision made by the directors of the sport.
Whilst we may not be able to experience the thrill of league racing in 2020, Your Berwick Bandits Speedway Club promotion are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the fans, sponsors and riders are able to attend, enjoy and benefit from competitive Live Racing this year in a safe and enjoyable environment!
Shielfield Park Stadium is blessed with a large capacity and the club feels very strongly that spectators can attend our open air, non contact events with confidence and enjoy their racing. With this in mind, plans are currently being drawn up and your Bandits management team are keen to put together entertaining Speedway for the fans on our new Shielfield Park circuit in the near future.
Please see below our ‘all you need to know’ information about how the club plans to move forward and innovate throughout these extremely tough times.
Berwick Bandits Speedway Club remains committed to staging Live Speedway Racing in 2020!
Season Passes will be carried over into 2021 and Season pass holders will be invited to attend any/all 2020 events free of charge!
2020 sponsors adverts will carry over into the 2021 season and sponsors will continue to receive exposure via www.berwickspeedway.com and within the Stadium throughout the remainder of 2020 and the entirety of 2021.
The Bandits management team intends to run at the same level with the same lineup when league racing gets the green light in 2021.
When more details are established, the club plans to release more information as soon as possible on a 2020 event schedule.
A new online ticketing system will be in full usage for future events.
Current merchandise ranges will be released for purchase asap and all designs and garments will be classed as the 2020/2021 range.
The club would like to thank the sponsors, the fans, the volunteers, the riders and the mechanics for their continued and loyal commitment to Berwick Speedway through these tough times and our commitment to you is to continue to strive to bring you the best Speedway we can as soon as possible!
