New backers for Championship

Your FTS Bandits, powered by Keenwood Karpets will be bidding for glory in a newly-named competition following the announcement of a major sponsorship deal.

The main league competition will be known as the Cab Direct Championship following a deal announced on Tuesday.

Established in 1996, Cab Direct is the UK’s top taxi supplier, supplying hackney and private hire operators and drivers across the country with both standard and special purpose vehicles.

The taxi specialist will use its extensive communications channels to help publicise speedway to tens of thousands of taxi drivers throughout the UK.

Cab Direct branding will be prominent around the nine Championship venues and some exciting new competition prizes are planned.
