Just to confirm that our winter signing Peter Kildemand will miss next weekend’s Cab Direct Championship  Big Weekend after suffering concussion riding riding for Oxford Spires last night.

The Dane was injured – although not knocked out as some reports have suggested – during their Premiership Knockout defeat at the hands of King’s Lynn and, as per medical protocol, will  be stood down for nine days from today which means that he will be unable to take his place in next Saturday’s league Pairs at Workington or the following day’s CLRC at Scunthorpe.

Peter is also due to have scans on his shoulder, hurt in Thursday night’s crash, after returning to his native Denmark today.

Drew Kemp, who scored 12+1 on his last appearance at Northside, is expected to replace Peter in the Pairs.
