Your FTS Bandits salvaged a league point at Newcastle this evening going down 47-42 to the Diamonds but things were far from plain sailing.
Unfortunately Ty Proctor was involved in a horror heat two accident and was taken to hospital with neck and shoulder injuries. We are delighted to let you all know that Ty’s X-ray has revealed no fractures.
Proctor has existing metal work in his neck from a previous injury and he took a severe impact to that same area. All precautions were taken and we are grateful to the medical team for looking after our Bandit and making sure all of the correct procedures were followed.
Kyle also got speared dramatically in the rerun of heat two and only good fortune enabled him to escape unscathed!
We witnessed some huge crashes on a more than tricky surface and your remaining Bandits battled on to claim a league point.
A big win, some dramatic spills and an away point rounds off another weekend of Speedway action and as always, we will keep everyone posted on Ty and Leon’s progress 💪🏁
Enjoy your bank holiday Monday folks!
