Another sparkling performance from Rory Schlein kept Berwick in the hunt for long spells at Wimborne Road on Wednesday night.
The former Poole favourite rattled in 14 points and was one of three Bandits’ heat winners in the opening four races, Poole not taking the lead until after heat seven.
Great Britain World Team Cup call-up Steve Worrall led the home side, dropping his only points to Schlein in heat 13.
