Peter Kildemand and Nick Morris will fly the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS flag at the Championship Best Pairs.

They are designated as Team B for the Championship, to be held at Poole on Wednesday September 2 with a 7pm start and will be out in heat one against the Scunthorpe pairing of Josh Pickering and Luke Harrison.

PK and Nick are also drawn to meet Glasgow (Chris Harris and Leon Flint), Plymouth (Danny King and Scott Nicholls) and the Edinburgh duo of Dan Thompson and Kye Thomson in the qualifying heats.

Charles Wright – who has won the event four times, thrice with Redcar and once with Sheffield, is partnered by Jason Edwards while Poole will begin as one of the favourites on their own track with Richard Lawson and Zach Cook big scorers around Wimborne Road.

Another former winner Oxford’s Sam Masters, for Edinburgh in 2014, is joined by Anders Rowe while Workington will be represented by mid-season signing Drew Kemp and Jonas Jeppesen.

After 18 qualifying heats, the top four teams will compete in two semi-finals, the winners moving into the final.

All races will use the 4-3-2-0 racing format.

The meeting will be livestreamed by PiratesTV.
