A little Saturday reminder

With a big crowd expected on Saturday night, many tempted back to Shielfield Park by the prospect of history being made by the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, here’s a few tips to making the evening go smoothly.

Turnstiles open at 6pm with the parade around 6.50pm and the first race at tapes for 7pm.

By far the quickest way into the stadium is by pre-purchasing an E-ticket – they are available up to 7.15pm Buy tickets here – but there are also cash turnstiles. Please note we cannot process debit or credit card payments. Accompanied under-16s are free, as is car parking.

Season Passes are not valid but pass holders can use their normal Box Office entrance and claim a discounted price of £18 either in cash or buy E-ticket using the concessionary option using their card as proof of eligibility.

There are licenced bars in the back straight Ducket and H-section of the main grandstand, a fast food restaurant just after the turnstile block and snacks available from both bars which also sell hot and cold drinks. Viewing is available around the stadium, well behaved dogs are welcome.

The meeting is being livestreamed around the world by BSN but with a big crowd expected we would ask you to take that into consideration and arrive a little earlier than usual. Our strict planning conditions mean that we have a 9.30pm curfew on racing so we need to get the show underway promptly at 7pm.
