All go at Armadale
The countdown continues towards tonight’s huge BSN Series Scottish section encounter at Armadale with both your R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, and Edinburgh Monarchs knowing that a place in the semi-finals is within their grasp.
The Bandits, two points, and Monarchs, one, currently trail Glasgow, four points, in the standings with Edinburgh due to complete the qualifying section with a trip to Ashfield on Sunday.
And the smart money would be on the Scottish section providing two qualifiers for the knockout stage via the best runner-up spot. The Southern section has been completed, Poole winning while second placed Oxford managed four points.

The North section is completed this weekend, Workington visiting Scunthorpe tonight and entertaining Redcar tomorrow. Whichever way the results fall the most the second placed side in that group can achieve is five – achievable by all three teams in the Scottish group.
Edinburgh will need to find a guest for their trip to Shielfield Park tomorrow night as number one Dan Thompson has, as he was when the initial staging was washed out, been told that he must be in attendance at Polish club Lodz on Saturday.
With obvious replacement Kyle Howarth already booked to guest for Craig Cook at Workington, the Edinburgh management will have to explore other guest options.
