Bastian update

More good news in what is turning into a very happy weekend.

Bastian endured the long ambulance ride down to Cramlington on Saturday night with severe pain in his lower back and pelvic area. A nine-hour wait in the A&E Department proved to be well worth the wait as examination reveals no breaks or serious damage.

The thrill-maker has quickly established himself as a firm fans’ favourite with his all-action racing style and fearless fourth bend manoeuvres and he’s now off home for a bit of rest and relaxation.

“It looks like I’ve only stretched some muscles or something like that,” he reports. “So a couple of days to relax and we will be sweet!”
