If you can’t make it to the GHT Berwick Bullets’ next National Development League adventure then the next best thing is to tune in live.
Internet station Chesil Radio will be providing commentary on the Bullets’ first visit to Iwade where they face the Kent Royals on Sunday.
First race is at noon but Chesil Radio commentator Nikki Latham will be on air from 11am covering the build-up to the vital encounter.
It will be the first NDL meeting covered live by the station but Nikki has already broadcast from the Isle of Wight this season.
“We will be Facebook Live before and after the meeting but due to restrictions on our accreditation it will be audio only for the actual meeting,” speedway fan Nikki, who is also station controller and one of the main presenters on Chesil Radio explained.
“It is the first year I have been allowed to have press accreditation which allows me to commentate on the National League and with Kent owner Si Kellow being a major supporter of our application it made sense to launch our coverage at Iwade,” Nikki explained.
“Over the years we have sponsored a number of riders from our core coverage area around Hampshire, Dorset, Devon and Somerset and continued to back them when they have moved onto teams outside that area.
“Speedway coverage has proved very popular for the station and we cannot wait to welcome listeners from up in the Borders.”
