No speedway this weekend – the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS are next in action when Plymouth Gladiators visit Shielfield Park on 19 July – but if you’re at a loose end why not think about heading up to Duns.
On Sunday the mums, dads and riders of the future continue their efforts to fix the damage imposed on the Duns Training Academy track by a combination of the weather and inactivity.
From 10am on Sunday they would welcome any help in bringing the purpose-built circuit at Duns Motocross Complex (TD11 3NS will find it in the SatNav) back to use.
Whether you’re a regular Duns or it’s your first time, your support is what keeps this project moving forward. There’s plenty to do, great company, and a real sense of pride in bringing this unique circuit back to life.
Bring gloves, tools if you have them, and lots of energy.
Or if you can’t make it in person there’s still an opportunity to help cover the basic running costs by donating to co-promoter Sarah Bulman’s GoFundMe page here which currently stands at £850.
