Having spent last year learning from two of the world’s best riders new Bandit Danyon Hume cannot wait to put the lessons into practice at one of his favourite circuits.

The youthful looking 27-year-old tells Total Access Countdown host Scott Frame that spending the 2023 season in the same team as Emil Sayfutdinov and Jason Doyle gave him a unique insight into the professionalism of the world’s best riders.

“I wish I was as young as I look,” he laughs, “and in some ways I wish the opportunities available to the current crop of under-24s had been around when I was making my way through the ranks.

“Having said that I am coming to Berwick off the back of a pretty good season at both Redcar and Ipswich and looking forward to a new challenge.

“I’ve always enjoyed coming to Shielfield. It’s a unique track and one that seems to suit my style so I cannot wait for the season to come around.”

The full interview between Scott and Danyon will  be available on our social media channels later this morning (Friday).
