Drew’s hot start to the season both in the colours of Leicester and the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, has not gone un-noticed.

With Paco Castagna tied up with the second round of his domestic Championship this weekend, Edinburgh have called on the Suffolk flyer for Friday night’s Scottish Cup second leg at Glasgow.

The Monarchs are looking to pull back a four-point first leg deficit but for Drew it is an opportunity to check out the Ashfield track before returning with the Bandits for our season-opening BSN Series encounter seven days later.

Drew will then head south for our Press and Practice session at Shielfield Park on Saturday. The boys will be posing for the cameras throughout the afternoon before taking to the track at 6.30pm to reacquaint themselves of our unique circuit.

All except Dayle Wood – who will say cheese and then head off to Armadale where the Monarchs Academy face Middlesbrough Tigers in the National Development League – are expected in the pits when gates open at around 6pm for the public practice session – admission is free if you want to come along and check out the new-look 2025 Bandits.

For Peter Kildemand, named in the Oxford Spires side visiting Ipswich on Thursday night after completing his compulsory nine-day concussion ban, it will be his first sight of the track since an appearance in Workington colours in 2010.

Season passes for the 2025 season are still available to buy and can be collected from the Box Office before Easter Saturday’s match-up with the Tigers. Buy season pass

Online tickets for the Glasgow meeting will go live over the weekend. Hospitality for the visit of the Tigers to Shielfield Park is £50 per person which includes admission, a matchday programme, buffet and a choice of unlimited hot/cold/alcoholic and soft drinks.
