Best of luck to our in-form reserve Freddy Hodder in his bid to lift the British under-19 crown at Oxford tomorrow afternoon (Sunday).

A strong end to the season in the colours of Belle Vue puts Freddy right in the mix for the crown, especially now that one of the favourites, Ashton Boughen, has withdrawn due to the continuing effects of his big crash in the CLRC last Sunday.

15-year-old wonderkid William Cairns and Oxford’s Luke Killeen will be among his main rivals in what looks a very competitive field.
