• Poole Pirates score 44 points or more they reach their fifth Knockout Cup final in five years
• A 47-43 win for Berwick = an aggregate tie. Who faces Plymouth in the final is decided by a four-lap Super Heat.

Food for thought

I’s quite simply the biggest team speedway meeting at Shielfield Park since the Young Shield Final of 2007.

But while that was blighted by the weather, forecasters say that the modern-day shootout will take place in blazing sunshine with temperatures of around 22 degrees when heat one gets underway at 7pm.

I can’t believe I have to say this but make sure you slap on the sunscreen and keep hydrated as you roar the class of 2026 towards a place in the history books last opened in 1989.

The semi-final is not included in the Season Pass Package but a discounted entrance of £18 is available on production of your card. Pass holders can buy E-tickets in advance using the concessions option or pay cash on the night using the Box Office entrance.
