A potential tweak to your race diaries involving the Knockout Cup.

The Bandits will face the winner of the Scunthorpe Scorpions v Plymouth Gladiators (they are scheduled to meet on April 12 and 13) in the quarter-finals. If the Scorpions triumph on aggregate then the first leg of the quarter-final will now take place at Shielfield Park on Saturday 27 April, seven days later than shown in our original fixture list.

Jye Etheridge has been added to the field for the Ben Fund meeting at Workington’s Northside Arena on 16 March. The popular Aussie will then head to Redcar to ride in Charles Wright’s testimonial the following day.

Teenager Freddy Hodder has been named as one of the track reserves for the prestigious Peter Craven Memorial Trophy at Belle Vue on 18 March. Freddy will ride for Belle Vue Colts in the National Development League this season in addition to making his Cab Direct Championship bow with the Bandits.
