New Bandits’ number one Lewis Kerr is delighted to be heading north and looking to be a winner.

The colourful King’s Lynn-born rider tells Total Access Countdown host Scott Frame that team manager Stewart Dickson’s promise that he was building a trophy-chasing side was a key factor to him signing for the 2024 season.

Berwick will become his 10th Championship club and 14th British club overall and he arrives off the back of his best-ever campaign with the Oxford Cheetahs last season.

“I’ve only heard good things about Berwick as a club and Stewart has a track record as a winner,” Lewis said.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of being number one, it’s a position I’ve ridden before at Newcastle.”

Lewis also talks to Scott about his Polish league ambitions, the relationship with his new skipper and a night at Shielfield when he had rose to the challenge and doubled his money!
