A busy day yesterday at Bandits HQ with our fixture list transferring the TBAs into the have been arranged.

The main change is that anyone planning to head to Poole for the Championship Pairs on 8 August can save themselves some money because the Pirates are now visiting Shielfield Park for a Championship fixture that night with the Pairs deferred until September.

Most immediately we are at Oxford a week on Friday, the unusual staging for the Cheetahs coming after they asked their fans whether they would prefer Tuesday or Friday as an off-race night. It also means that we will not be clashing with Peter Kildemand’s Danish League fixtures.

Just to confirm the rearranged fixtures – all in the Cab Direct Championship are:

Friday 24 July A Oxford Cheetahs

Saturday 8 August H Poole Pirates

Saturday 22 August H Redcar Bears

Saturday 29 August H Edinburgh Monarchs

Still to find suitable dates is both legs of the MAXICab Knockout Cup Final against Plymouth.

Next up at Shielfield Park is Saturday night’s BSN Series semi-final clash with Redcar Bears on Saturday – full preview when teams are confirmed but we do know that Charles Wright has returned to the Bears’ side after nearly four months out with injury.
