A busy night and contrasting fortunes for two of your R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, as they warmed up for tonight’s Cab Direct Championship clash with Plymouth Gladiators.
Sam Hagon scored 7+1 guesting for Jodie Scott as Redcar rubber-stamped both theirs and Edinburgh’s places in the play-offs while ending opponent Workington’s slender hopes with a 53-37 victory.
But Dayle Wood had a mechanical night to forget as he twice ground to a halt while comfortably leading races in Monarchs Academy’s 51-39 victory over Steelers at Armadale before bouncing back in his last two rides.
Both will be key elements as Nikolai Klindt, Scott Nicholls and Simon Lambert form a formidable spearhead for the visitors in the Bandits’ penultimate meeting of 2025.
