Matchday update

It’s a dull start to the day in TD15 with the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, looking to bounce back from another disappointing evening in West Lothian.

We still await confirmation of the extent of Peter Kildemand’s shoulder injury while the search for a suitable guest for our influential number one continued through the night.

Visitors Edinburgh are in a similar situation attempting to find a replacement for paid maximum man Dan Thompson who, as he was for the original, rained-off, staging of this BSN Series encounter has been called to Europe by his Polish club Lodz. With Kyle Howarth already snapped up by Workington this afternoon both teams are struggling to find a like-for-like guest.

Tonight is also the crunch for both side’s  semi-final hopes, the Monarchs obviously seeing themselves in the driving seat with an 18-point lead making them favourites to collect the aggregate point.

For the Bandits all three points are a must and as they showed against Workington – who won at Scunthorpe last night – they are more than capable of dismantling a side on the Shielfield Park shale.

The action starts at 7pm with gates opening from 6. Tickets can be bought here or pay cash on the gate.
