A busy morning in the workshop with power washers getting the last of the Ashfield mud off their bikes and kevlars.

Before attention switches to the reverse fixture between the R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS and Glasgow at Shielfield Park tonight.

Which becomes even more important with Glasgow now on three points from their opening two BSN Series Scottish section encounters.

No question that the Tigers’ trident of Harris, Howarth and Flint will be the main dangers again this evening as all score heavily at Shielfield Park,

But with the weather forecast fair conditions are likely to be very different this evening.

With a meeting finally under their belts Victor Palovaara, Lasse Fredriksen and Reid Battye will all be looking forward to making their home debuts.

Glasgow’s new signings Mario Hausl and Kevin Juhl Pedersen suffered mechanical problems but both showed glimpses of their undoubted talent.

All in all the runes suggest another all-action battle between two closely-matched sides played out in the crackling atmosphere which marks meetings between the sides.
