We can confirm that the Championship Knockout Cup quarter-final second leg between Berwick FTS Bandits, powered by Keenwood Karpets, and Redcar Bears will be staged on Saturday, 16 July, the usual 7pm start.

The tie – in which Berwick need to claw back a 12-point deficit if they are to progress to the semi-finals was postponed last Saturday due to unavailability and illness among a number of key Berwick track staff members.

The club is still working to find a restaging date for the double header involving the Bandits and Bullets at Leicester which was postponed on 5 June.

Club co-owner Jamie Courtney said: “As you can imagine rearranging a double header between two Saturday night tracks with riders who have extensive commitments outside Britain is no simple task. But we will keep talking and let our supporters know as soon as possible via our social media channels.”
