Confirmation that your R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS, will be represented by Drew Kemp and skipper Danyon Hume in Saturday’s Championship Pairs at Workington, 3pm.
With winter signing Peter Kildemand still sidelined under the concussion protocol following his spill at Oxford last week and Craig Cook unavailable at this time the baton passes to a couple of last season’s standout performers.
Drew will also fly the Berwick flag on Sunday when one of his former tracks, Scunthorpe, hosts the CLRC, also 3pm start.
If you’re planning to hit the road in support of our battling Bandits – and the Supporters’ Club is running a coach to Northside – then adult admission to the Pairs is £22, children aged 6-16 £6, students (16-18) £12 and a family ticket (two adults, three children) £47. Please note that the GT Tyres Arena is cash only.
On Sunday it’s again £22 for adults with concessions (student and OAP) £20. Under-16s accompanied by an adult are admitted free.
If you can’t make it then both meetings are being streamed live by British Speedway Network. They are included in the Championship and Total Season passes but are also available on a pay-per-view basis at £14.99 per event. Buy stream
