PK joins missing list

Peter Kildemand has crashed out of Saturday’s  crunch Cab Direct Championship clash with Poole at Shielfield Park.

Despite being on the winning side as Fjelsted won 56-28 at Region Varde Elitesport on Wednesday PK was involved in a crash and left with  suspected cracked ribs and out of Saturday.

Leon Flint is the obvious – and popular – guest having already played a key role in our Knockout Cup semi-final with a stunning late burst of scoring at Wimborne Road and against Edinburgh in the BSN Series, a performance which ultimately qualified us for the semi-final of  that competition. There were also scores of 13 and 10 in losing causes for his Glasgow club.

Poole – already using Edward Kennett as a replacement for Fraser Bowes and rider-replacement for Zach Cook – also need cover for Kyle Newman who crashed out of Wednesday’s victory over Edinburgh at Poole. Like Cook, Newman has a modest Shielfield Park record and with 5.01 to play with Poole will be looking for a replacement with a decent record in the Borders.

Before the Pirates showdown R.E.D Bandits, powered by STS riders Nick Morris and Reid Battye guest for Glasgow at Edinburgh tomorrow night for Kyle Howarth and Mario Hausl respectively.
