Tonight’s match vs Scunthorpe has fallen victim to torrential rain and thunderstorms which arrived just 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Berwick bosses had made the decision to delay opening the turnstiles following an earlier heavy shower around 4.30pm.
“The track took that rain well and we were hoping to make a start, albeit probably delayed until around 7.30,” Berwick promoter Steve Dews explained.
“But any hopes disappeared around 6.20 when a torrential downpour accompanied by thunder and lightening left the track under water and there was just no option but to postpone the meeting.”
All online tickets will be refunded and we will keep you posted on a new date once we establish one.
