Ladies and gentlemen please welcome … the R.E.D Bandits.

We are delighted to announce that Wooler-based R.E.D Campers will be title sponsors for the 2025 season, Berwick speedway’s 58^th consecutive year of operation.

A lifelong love of camping inspired Paul and Louise Rushton to launch their own company creating bespoke units – permanent and removable – which turns a basic van into a home-away-from home at an affordable price. They also perform full conversions on vans and larger motorhomes in addition to 4x4s with their in-house upholsterer ensuring a perfect, stylish fit.

R.E.D is very much a family business, its very name inspired by Paul and Louise’s daughters Rachel, Emma and Daisy. R.E.D has been generous backers of both the club and individual Bandits’ riders for quite a number of years now but in 2025 they will be the main name on everyone’s lips.

Club owner Jamie Courtney is delighted with the new deal. He said: “Since taking over Berwick speedway in 2017 I’ve got to know Paul and Louise very well and I’m very pleased to see them become our title sponsor for the new season.

“Sponsorship is invaluable when it comes to keep the bikes roaring at Shielfield Park and to have the generous backing of such a well-known local company is a great boost to the club.”

R.E.D is one of a a growing band of companies and individuals already backing the Bandits’ 2025 Cab Direct Championship campaign – we’ll be highlighting them over the coming weeks – but there is still time to add your backing for the R.E.D Bandits in 2025.
