Berwick Speedway is set to go live after tying up a partnership with the county’s radio station.
Starting this week an hour-long Total Access will air every Wednesday from 6pm on Radio Northumberland, airing exclusive interviews and insight into the club.
Total Access host Scott Frame said: “I am delighted that we have been able to agree this partnership with one of the area’s growing radio stations.
“From our initial talks it soon became clear that there was a lot of benefit for both parties. From the club’s point of view it’s about expanding our reach in the area and putting Berwick Speedway’s name on everyone’s lips.
“Our media team works extremely hard ensure that we explore every avenue to bring fans closer to the club and produce quality content that is both enjoyable and informative.
“Greg Blair and I will still be hosting the Total Access Countdown show on Facebook every Thursday and the new radio show will be available to download and stream from our Spotify, Apple, and other good podcast platforms on Fridays for anyone who can’t listen live.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved with the club and this is a unique partnership, a full show dedicated to one club. Hopefully the station’s expanding profile within Northumberland can bring more fans through the gate to support the boys on track.”
Thomas Jorgensen and Danny King are among those featured in the first show along with Greg Blair and Scott Frame.
The first show with Scott and Greg airs on Wednesday May 3 at 6pm, check out Radio Northumberland for full schedule details https://radionorthumberland.com
Radio Northumberland has been broadcasting online since January 2012 and covers an area, especially in the north of the county, poorly served by BBC local and commercial radio.
Its mix of popular music along with specialist shows including country, new wave and classic rock along with features and local information has seen it steadily increase its share of the audience over the years.
